Along with the Tokyo Metropolitan Tourism Chrysanthemum Exhibition, the Bunkyo Chrysanthemum Festival (“kiku matsuri”) is the other major chrysanthemum festival in Tokyo and one of the five Bunkyo Flower Festival events held annually. This time Yushima Tengu plays host with 2,000 chrysanthemum flowers on display. The event runs from 6am until sundown (unfortunately, there are no illuminations at night).
