This design creates an airy, spacious atmosphere that avoids the humid, cramped feeling common in older public baths. The indoor area features a large rectangular tub where the mineral concentration and heat are most intense. Outside, the facility offers a more organic experience with natural stone-lined baths surrounded by greenery. A unique feature of the outdoor area is the “walking bath,” a shallow, cool-water course where visitors can stride through the water to improve circulation and massage the soles of their feet.

In addition to the standard hot baths and cold-water plunge pools, Noborigumo is well-regarded for its sauna variety. Along with a standard high-temperature sauna, the facility includes a low-temperature salt sauna.
