Awa Odori in Koenji that has been held since 1957 and today attracts almost one million visitors over the course of the weekend. The parade is held from 5pm to 8pm both nights and loops in a figure of eight between JR Koenji Station and Tokyo Metro Shinkoenji Station which lies a few hundred metres to the south.
