Togoshi-Ginza (戸越銀座) is a famous Tokyo shopping district (shoten-gai). It is in fact a combination of three separate shopping districts that go under the name Togoshi-Ginza. The 1.5km long shopping street that runs straight past the station of the same name is the longest in the Kanto region with approximately 400 shops and stores lining either side of the road. Many of the restaurants sell foods such as croquettes and yakitori on the street in front of their stores, giving the shopping district a more local feel than others in the capital. The main street is pedestrianized between 3pm and 6pm (2pm and 7pm on Sundays and public holidays).
