Running since 1962, the Tokyo International Toy Show is Japan’s largest toy trade fair, hosted at Tokyo Big Sight. Approximately 200 domestic and international vendors gather to showcase over 35,000 products, ranging from traditional board games to the latest AI-driven electronics. The four-day event begins on Thursday, though the initial two days are strictly reserved for trade professionals. The weekend serves as the “Public Days,” allowing families to experience cutting-edge trends and interactive play zones before products hit the shelves.

Public attendance typically requires a pre-purchased ticket, as on-site sales are often restricted to manage the massive weekend crowds. Because Tokyo Big Sight is situated in Odaiba, visitors should utilize the Yurikamome Line or Rinkai Line, though both experience heavy congestion during the show’s opening and closing hours.
