Over the course of the year Tokyo plays host to festivals from just about all the southeast Asian countries. Cambodia is first to kick off the cultural celebration and Laos follows closely behind. The Laos Festival has been running since 2007 and was set up by a Japanese person who was enamored by the country when they did a homestay in 1996 during high school. The event takes place in the event area of Yoyogi Park. 10:00-19:00 on both days.
