The Jingu-Gaien Fireworks Festival is one of the few firework events to be held in central Tokyo. Spectators can watch from the surrounding streets, but there is also the option to purchase seating for the rugby stadium, softball ground, main baseball stadium (Jingu Stadium), and nearby Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium. At the Jingu Stadium there is a pre-firework concert at which famous JPOP groups usually make an appearance (AKB48 performed there in 2016).
