While Yokohama’s Christmas market might boast a 10-meter tall Christmas tree, Hibiya pulls out all the stops for its “Tokyo Christmas Market” by importing a giant-sized wooden spinning toy that gives the illusion that it’s powered by candle smoke. It’s Tokyo’s biggest (and best, in my humble opinion) Christmas market, but owing to its location near Ginza—not to mention the general popularity of Christmas markets—the venue gets crowded. There is, however, plenty of seating in the tented area, as well as tables and benches here and there throughout the market. The Christmas market runs from 11am to 10pm each day.
