The CP+ Camera & Photo Imaging Show is Japan’s biggest photography event where the likes of Nikon, Canon, Olympus, Panasonic, Sony, Fujifilm, Pentax, Casio, Sigma, and Tamron unveil their latest equipment. Those who don’t avidly follow the world of photography could be forgiven for assuming that the CP+ Camera & Photo Imaging Show is also the world’s biggest photography exhibition—after all, the biggest names in the industry are Japanese—but that prize goes to Germany’s Photokina. The CP+ Camera & Photo Imaging Show is held over 4 days in Yokohama, and attracts about 70,000 visitors each year.
