The bold mission of the Washu Fes (和酒フェス) is to join people together through Nihon-shu. The event is held in the plaza of the Nakameguro GT Tower twice a year—and also abroad (Hong Kong). The entrance fee isn’t the cheapest at ¥3,000 but that gets you two hours of all-you-can-drink Nihon-shu from some of Japan’s most well-known producers.
Over 100 different types of sake, including sparking Nihon-shu, will be available for tasting, and you also get to listen to guest speakers and mini-seminars for your money. There is a limit of 500 places for each of the two sessions and tickets can be purchased through the official website. Food is also available but must be purchased separately.
