10-day film festival to promote new films and up-and-coming directors. Typically there have been about 1,500 entries from almost 100 countries. Roppongi Hills TOHO Cinema and the EX Theater Roppongi nearby in Nishiazabu are the main venues, but other venues such as the National Film Center and Kabuki-za also take part.
