Held annually at the beginning of January, the Furusato Matsuri sees about 300 companies gather in Tokyo Dome over the course of the week to promote regional specialities, including craft beer. There are also traditional performances on the main stage to promote understanding of regional cultures, as well. The event isn’t particularly well publicized in English, but in fact attracts 300,000-400,000 visitors over the course of the week. Entrance tickets range from ¥1,300 to ¥1,800.
